I've setup a working integration where Butler posts messages to slack whenever a new card is added.
I tried to notify slack users by mentioning them in the message text like so:
hi@john there is a new card on the board
But slack doesn't interpret it as a mention.
Does Butler support mentions and if so how?
thx
Remco
Hi Remco,
Slack doesn't currently support mentions in the slack messages that Butler sends. One workaround is to use Slack's keyword notifications, so that if your name is mentioned in a Butler notification, Slack detects this and you are notified.
I'll make sure to pass your feedback on to our team too!
Thanks,
Ryan

Well, it's not often "I'll pass this on to the team" ever results in a solution – great to see y'all keeping form! 🙄

The previous answer is incorrect. When submitting an @ mention via app integration the format is just different. See the api docs.
