Hi. I've successfully created/tested automated notifications from Trello to Slack (in my test, it was when a new card is created - post a notification to a Slack channel of my choice).
Although it works, the notification in Slack is not highlighted (i.e. I don't know that there's a new notification there). The "highlighted" notification though is working as normal for all other Slack channels and DMs....and I'm not sure why it's just not working for that butler notification?
Hello,
I just tested this and it seems like if you have chosen to send the message as yourself, you will not receive any notification or the channel will not be highlighted to indicate that there is a new message, this could be because of the Slack assuming that the message was sent by you directly and not notifying you.
The workaround is to use the option "Send as Butler", this will both highlight the channel and trigger a notification. To use this, you will need to make sure "Butler By Trello" App is installed on Slack and active on the channel.
Thanks.
