Butler email notification to card members

ZRM January 1, 2021

When looking at the list of Butler variables, I don't see any for member's email addresses. Is that correct?

I want to create an email notification via Butler for when a due date is passed, emailing all the members of the card.

I can see how to do the notification in Butler, but can't find any way to use the email addresses of the card's members.

Is there a ways to do this?

For anyone else confused like me, set the "To" field:

Hi @ZRM ,

Welcome to the community! We are glad you are here!
Wish you a very happy new year!

You always don't need to set any email id in butler rules, it will automatically send an email to the members that were on the card! It will send the email to the same email by which the account has been created or set rules accordingly with an email!

Hi,

Thanks for your answer! I'm still confused with how it is possible. When setting up a due-date rule in Butler, the action I want is to send an email:

and so what do I put in the "to" address if I want to send only to members on the card?

Also, the third link you included ( https://trello.com/c/5wObh6DD/81-set-up-butler-to-send-a-notification-email-when-a-card-is-overdue ) the link in there returns a 404, so I'm not sure if that had the answer I was looking for.

Hi @ZRM ,

Just create a trigger that "when the due date is over then send an email to ..."

ZRM January 2, 2021

"Send an email to" was the action I was looking at and I included a screenshot of it in my last reply.

I'm asking what to put in the "To" field to email members of the card. You mean I just leave the "to" field blank?

I'm not sure if you're understanding the issue. There is no apparent variable for members' email addresses, so what do I put in the "To" field?

Hi @ZRM ,

leave the "to" field as it is, just enter the email then the user's associated with the card will get an email!

Hi, I appreciate the effort you are making to reply. Thanks!

I finally saw the drop-down list, and now know how to do it!

Hi,

I appreciate your effort in replying!

I finally saw the drop-down list in the "to" field and now see how to do it!

I was confused, since I was focusing on the email address field, hoping there was a variable I could use there.

Thanks!
