Butler Automation rule not working

I've set up an automated rule "when a card is added to the board by anyone, move the card to the top of the list" and "Enabled on this board" is checked.

However, every time I add a new card it is not automatically placed at the top of the list and I have to do it manually.

Perhaps the solution I found would be helpful for others: I had to go out of the board (I closed Trello) and then go back in. The new automation rule then worked.

didn't work for me. any advice?

Didn't work for me either.

I have a rule for several lists on one board that when a card is added it is automatically added to a list on a different board.  I just updated several cards with labels, but I don't see how that would make a difference.  I tried refreshing both pages first and then closing the browser tabs altogether and reopening, and no difference.

Automation is hairy enough with this program without stuff that does work breaking...

Hello everyone! I was having the same problem and just found the solution.

I hope it would fit for your.

We choose the "added to the list" option and not "created in the list", so you need to create this card in another list and move to this list to be automatically moved to the list in the rule.

Not that smart... but... we should change our rule for "created in the list". But, to work properly, you need to first choose the label in the options before you press Enter. If you add the label after creating the card, this rule won't work as well.

Cheers!
