Board members displayed in list rather than icons

On boards with dozens of users, the little icons with 2 letters are hard to use (hovering over icon to read names). Is there a better / different display option?

There's not currently a way to display the member list differently.  Perhaps you'd like to submit this as a feature request.

Imagine somebody in my newly formed 300 person NGO collaboration community comes to me as Trello admin trying to find Paul (met at rally), to send him a PowerPoint. His name is Paul MacNobody, who uses avatar ZeroMan, with an eMail of 0scot0@gmail.com. He had signed up to the event card along with a hundred others. I guess I’ll be needing to keep updating a searchable DB / SS. Phone # with option to hide from non-admins would also be nice!
