I have a conditional automation rule that takes a while to fully execute. The rule is rather lengthy. I'm curious if there is any computation benefit to me splitting a lengthy rule into multiple rules?
My rule is:
Creating a linked card when checklist item is added
Copying labels to new card
Adding label to new card
Removing specific labels from new card
Populating new card's custom field value with that from the parent card
Updating new card's name
Setting new card's description
Adding 2 empty checklists to new card
Hi @Andy McAfee - Thanks for reaching out in the Community! The queueing system for Trello's Automations can only run one at a time so splitting the commands won't speed things up much. It does sound like a fair amount of commands in that particular rule. One other aspect to consider when thinking about the performance is how many active cards you have on your board as the larger a board the more performance can be impacted
