Automate Github Branch/PR to move Trello Cards

I would like to be able to do the following use case

1. User creates a trello card with feature request in the To Do column/list.

2. User Links/Attaches card to Github Branch (done via Trello's Github Power Up)

3. When branch is opened, auto-move the card from To Do column to Doing column/list.

4. When branch is merged into a PR, auto-move from Doing to Code Review column.

5. When PR is merged, auto-move from Code Review column to Testing column.

I don't see a clear way to automate step three. The built in Butler tool doesn't seem to work with the power ups; if i try with another automation tool, there is no clear way to trigger based on the power up field. If alternatively I try to use the automate tool to trigger based on a github branch being opened, I can't find a clean way to "find" the right card even though they've already been linked via the powerup. 

Is this achievable? My main goal is to reduce manual clicks as much as possible, and to just let the updates via GitHub move the cards across the Board's lists. I'd like to keep the engineering team from "swivel-chairing" across two different platforms as much as possible.

Hi @Hannah S. Thanks for reaching out to the community! Based on what you've described it doesn't sound like Butler will be able to achieve those automations as it has no way of listening for changes made in GitHub. I would suggest looking at third-party integration tools such as Zapier and set up the integration so that the triggers come directly from GitHub.

Hi Lam - Thanks for your response.

I understand your point regarding listening - but I am thinking that when I load Trello, I see a status of "Merged" for a github PR. So given that the PR status is available in Trello when I load the page, it would be really cool if something could be configured in Butler to trigger off of this.
