Are Admin Customizations and Restrictions Possible?

Can the account admin prevent other users from moving or rearranging lists on a board?

Similarly, can the admin prevent members or users from re-arranging items on check-lists?

The reply function would not work therefore, I responded here as an answer: The question was referring the order of the checklist items. Anyone seems to be able to easily rearrange the order of the checklist items, which is not a good standardization practice. Same question applies to the order of list, in any Board.Trello1.pngTrello 2.png

Hi @Paul Rahmanian

There's no way to restrict who can reorder checklists or lists on your board but still allow them to edit the rest of details on the board.

If you want to prevent someone reordering your lists and checklists you'll need to make them an Observer on the board which'll give them read-only access to the board so they can view information but can't edit any of the cards.

Hey @Paul Rahmanian

If you're wanting to prevent people completing actions on your board, the best way to do this is to make them an Observer. This is a feature of our Premium plan, it allows you to make someone an Observer on a board instead of a Normal member or an Admin which gives them read-only access to view the cards on the board but not be able to edit them. Here's a link with some more information on this - https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/adding-observers-to-boards/

You can also change the settings to allow Observers to comment on your boards if this is something you'd need them to do.

The question was referring the order of the checklist items. Anyone seems to be able to easily rearrange the order of the checklist items, which is not a good standardization practice.
