Am i able to use the free version of trello for a uni project that involves approximately 40 ppl?

I'm keen to use trello for a group project of 40 people approximately. Will i be able to easily use checklists and attachments and add all relevant members to the trello workspace? or do you think ill run into issues when using the free version?

This will not work on a free edition (previous answer was correct untill May 2024, but not anymore)

On a free Workspace you can max have 10 people now, so best option would be to have a paid standard plan for a single user (you), and have the 39 others be single board guests on the board

If you need multiple boards then you would need to pay for all 40 users 😕

Trello should work fine for a 40-person project with checklists and attachments. The free version covers basic needs, but if you need more advanced features or larger file uploads, you might consider a paid plan.
