Advanced checklist due date not converting from task to card when is converted.

Natalia Kataoka May 20, 2020

I have been testing the advanced checklist and have noticed a difference between how they convert to cards in two different boards. The announcement blog said that checklist items with due dates would have said due dates mirrored when that task is converted into a card. This works fine on one of my boards, but not on the other.

I have rules setup to convert checklist items into cards on both boards, but cannot get the second board to work as the first. I have changed the rule in board 2 to match the same parameters as board 1, but no luck.

This rule works:

Hey Natalia,

Sorry for the confusion. Our blog about advanced checklists did mention that converting an item to a card will mirror that item's due date in the card. I'm afraid though that was specifically referring to manually converting a card like so:

Currently, Butler's own convert action in the Cascade section does not mirror those due dates.

I am curious about the rule you have set up in your first board cause I would expect that to not work. In my own testing, I cannot get Butler to mirror an item's due date on a card it's converted to.

Could you share a screenshot of a card that you converted with that rule please?

Is there a work around for this yet? Also need individual items converting to cards to include the due date from the item itself.
