I'm pretty sure it's possible - I thought I'd seen it somewhere - but I can't seem to get it to work?
In a checklist - within a card - I'd quite like to be able to separate out steps in a checklist, by placing a separator. Like you can in in Lists i.e. typing "---" and a separator line appears. Only in a checklist it places the divider/separtor in to the checklist (without check box)
Is it a thing or have I been mistaken?
To get similar behaviour/functionlity I've been inputting the following;
``. --- .``
which sort of provides a 'break' in the checklist, but it's crude and I'd like a more elegant solution.
TIA

In Trello, there isn't a built-in feature that allows you to add a visual separator in checklists like you can with lists by typing "---". However, there are a few workarounds you can use to create a more visually distinct separator in your checklists:
Using Symbols or Characters: You can use a series of characters or symbols to create a makeshift separator. For example:
---
===
***
~~~
Empty Checklist Item: You can create an empty checklist item with just a descriptive label or a series of characters. This won't have use as checkbox, but it will act as a visual separator. For example:
--- Section Break ---
***
===[Section Title]===
Using Emojis: Incorporating emojis can help you create a more visually appealing separator. For example:
