Add Card from any DM message

In Slack I get tasks all the time from many people. I have a connection from the Trello app to a board. I'd like to be able to take any message in any channel or DM and add a card of the task. All I can figure out is to copy the text, go to trello app in Slack and /trello add <paste>. 

How can I do this from anywhere in slack without connecting every conversation to a trello board?

Theo from the Trello team. 

You are able to create cards through your Slack channel. However, your Slack channel needs to be linked to a board. 

You cannot from any channel... well, if you connect all channels you would be able, but, I don't think you would do that.
