Hi there,

It sounds like this might be something specific to your set-up, as I tested this on my own device and was able to view attachment covers for images, as well as open new attachments.

Could you check that your Android version is 6.0 or higher and that you are using the latest version of our app? If this is the case, then send us a message to trello.com/contact, so that we can look more in to what might be going on for you.
