Why deleting cards or lists on Trello is so cumbersome?

Edited

Sorry for the rant, I love Trello and have been using it for a long time, but as mentioned in the title, deleting cards on any Trello apps (desktop, mobile,...) is so cumbersome. Deleting lists is even worse. Why ?
The deletion process on Trello is not improving our productivity for sure... Why can't it be simplified?

Am I the only one reacting on this issue? It would be so great if Trello's team could improve the process.

Thank you

Destroying information is usually a bad idea.  A lot of software (including Trello) hence make it quite difficult.

I tend to agree with you, in particular when you manage a project with a team, but when you also use Trello as a personal TODO list app, with a specific board for it, a lighter card deletion process would be much appreciated.
