I'm trying to understand how Trello is used, or not used, by other companies.
Although our company (700+ employees) officially doesn't use Trello, approximately 150 employees are registered to the Free version with their Atlassian accounts.
Although we have subscribed to Atlassian Access and have a signed DPA that covers the free Trello version, our primary concern remains the lack of control or visibility over whether employees share Trello boards with external parties, and we cannot afford to upgrade to the Enterprise version to unlock the more advanced security features.
I'm curious to hear other people's viewpoints on Trello Free usage in businesses.
- Do you share the same concerns about external sharing in Trello?
- How do you, if at all, prevent the use of Trello Free in your business?
- Are there specific best practices or policies you follow to ensure that sensitive information is not shared or compromised through Trello?
