Member based label for foolproof rule automation

Keruchan September 22, 2021

I'm not really going to use it as i'm planning to use trello for small business.

It just some random 'what if situation' that just suddenly comes in my mind while drafting my board using automation.

What if a worker got replaced.
Which means im going to rewrite some rule automation one by one.

It would have been great if we have a Label for members. Like how we do it with cards.

Something like
If a comment is added containing "done" by {memberLabelHere} assign {memberLabelHere}

With such you are not going to rewrite the automation rules. You are just going to set label to the new member in the group at the workplace setting.

@Keruchan that sounds like something you'd need variables for. Our BenkoBot platform for automation has "environment variables" so you'd be able to do something like:

You can see more about BenkoBot here:

If you're not a coder we can put you in touch with BenkoBot devs who can set your automation up for you.
