Atlassian is pleased to announce that Certified designations are now live!

As mentioned in this prior post, designations are the replacement for the retired Atlassian Certified Expert (ACE), but with additional paths for recognition. Specifically, associate certifications can be used to earn designations!

You can use all designations to unlock career growth with combined certifications.

Atlassian Certified designations will create multiple tracks for users and admins to demonstrate advanced proficiency with Atlassian products and solutions by earning and combining related certifications. These combined certifications make up either Specialist or Expert designations.

• Specialist designations are for users or admins who want to showcase their verified expertise with Atlassian products and solutions. They provide recognition, distinction within the Atlassian Community, and career opportunities related to the designation’s field.

• Expert designations are for admins who hold multiple professional certifications and demonstrate advanced expertise in configuring Atlassian products and solutions. This level of certification offers significant career advancement potential.

As a reminder, the Specialist designations will align with the Atlassian system of work by focusing on areas such as Agile DevOps (ADO), IT Service Management (ITSM), Teamwork foundations, the Atlassian Cloud Platform, and more. This opens up exciting opportunities for growth and recognition for a wider range of roles and teams.

The initial release includes these three designations:

1. Atlassian Certified Administration Expert

2. Atlassian Certified Agile DevOps Specialist

3. Atlassian Certified ITSM Specialist

Fantastic, thank you, I see it listed the new ACE Designations now on the Certmetrics portal. Is there a way to share it out electronically on LinkedIn?

Hi @Dietmar Doerschlag Yes! You can share the badge just as you would share a certification badge. Also, you can add designations to your transcript.
