Our catalog keeps growing. We’ve been adding more and more new cloud-focused courses to help as your organization gets started with, or makes the move to, cloud. And you can expect more from us in the coming months—new Cloud courses are in development and we can’t wait to share them with you.

Get started

Atlassian University has built these free tutorials to help you get started with Jira and Confluence. These shorter, self-paced courses are great if you don’t know where to start or if you want to validate some of the things you think-you-thought-you-knew.

Get hands-on

Got the basics covered? Next, we have on demand and Instructor-led courses to train you and your team on Jira and Confluence Cloud. These courses include cloud labs to go beyond just watching how it’s done.

Validate your skills

When you need to showcase your skills—to your manager, a future employer, or just to yourself, your team, or your peers—we have Skills Badges and Certifications ready for Cloud. These aren’t participation ribbons—they are validation that you know how to help manage and/or administrate Jira and Confluence to benefit your team.

Earn your first Atlassian credential with Skills Badges

If you’ve never earned an Atlassian credential before, the best place to start is with the Pro Skills Badge for:

You can earn more Skills Badges by taking any of these free Skillbuilder courses and then passing their associated exams, too:

Grow your career through Certification

Certifications are earned by demonstrating your skills through a proctored exam. They lean on your career experience, as much as training courses. There are currently two Cloud Certifications you can earn:

Managing Jira Cloud Projects

You’ll know this is the right Certification for you if:

  • You live day-to-day in Jira boards and filters.

  • You understand why, where, and how to make configuration changes.

  • You hold the key to your projects' permissions, access, and roles.

  • You can interpret reports to optimize your teams' efficiency.

Jira Cloud Administrator

You’ll know this is the right Certification for you if:

  • You have 1-2 years of experience administering Jira Cloud.

  • You can interpret and translate business requirements into product configurations.

  • You’re a guru when it comes to workflows, security, permissions, project schemes, and system settings available through the user interface.

  • You understand features specific to Jira Cloud.

  • You grasp how administrative choices affect Jira's scalability and day-to-day manageability.

  • You leverage Atlassian resources and community to help your team implement best practices within Jira.

UPDATE: We just added Jira Service Management Cloud Basics to our catalog. It's a short tutorial, but should be very helpful getting started with the updated ITSM features that come with Jira Service Management cloud, including the new ITSM project template!
