Do you need to use the same docker image for test, staging and production deployments?

@mention Ok, I'm experimenting with building pipelines in bitbucket.  I know I need deployment environments for the test, staging and production steps(I'm using a default, Atlassian docker image).  I already linked my bitbucket to Jira as an integration and I was wondering if I needed separate images for each step of the deployment process, or do I use the same image?  I know it's the same storage space, but do I need more than one?
