Thought experiment from my leadership team:
I have component A and want to send two kinds of notifications:
1) when an issue is detected with component A I want to to notify my internal teams
2) after research is gives us a better picture [maybe 30 minutes later], I want to notify my external users about component A
Both internal and external groups are associated with component A - is there an elegant way to allow for this 'breather' moment for the internal team before broadcasting externally?

Unfortunately it's not possible to be able to split out the notifications. As soon as you create an incident, associate the components and have the 'send notifications' checked, Statuspage will send the notification to all subscribers.
