about subscribing to updates on the status page

I try to subscribe to updates on the status page via webhooks.

Is it possible to specify the port number like "https://FQDN:55555/myWebhook/" when entering the URL ?  Is it possible to specify the IP address directly instead of the FQDN?

Also, is it possibe to ignore the certificate error when sending the webhook over SSL?

Hello Ken,

This is Jesse from the Statuspage support team. Thanks for the question and welcome to the community.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use a port number but I believe that you are limited to a URL for that field so an IP address is probably not valid.

In regards to the SSL question, the webhooks are sending with an HTTP Post so I am not entirely sure what you mean around ignoring the certificate. If you could provide more details, I would happy to provide more answers.

Regards,
Jesse
