Why are private pages only for employees?

The description explicitly says that private pages are for employees to know what is going on. Why would we not want to use these for certain customer sets?

@Perry_Statham Status page is broken up into three different types of pages.

  • Public - Everyone can see
  • Private - Uses your company's SSO to allow access
  • Audience-specific - Grant access based on user groups

If your customers are set up on your company'ss SSO then they could use the private page.

@Brant Schroeder Is it possible to grant enteral customers access to Audience-specific Statuspage, who are not setup in company's SSO?

@Henry Sui - You would have to be able to add the users Atlassian account to grant them access so you would have to know what that is.
