What happens to aspiring subscribers if you have reached your limit? For example, we have a limit of 5000 subscribers with our plan. What will the experience be for the aspiring subscribers past the 5000th? Will they be denied? Will our admins receive warnings to upgrade?
Hello Rob,
This is Jesse from the Statuspage support team. Welcome to the community and thanks for the question about subscriber limits.
Once you get close to a limit, it will give you a warning that you are approaching the limit and to consider upgrading.
Once you hit the limit, it gives you another warning that you have reached the max and you should upgrade. We don't, however, prevent new subscribers from signing up because that could lead to a bad user experience.
It's based a lot on the honor system, however, we do see the numbers and we could reach out to ask to upgrade. Also, while we do not have any hard limitations in place as of now, this could change in the future.
For now, however, if you get a large influx of subscribers, rest assured, they will all still be able to subscribe.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions at all. I hope you have an excellent day!
Regards,
Jesse
