What counts as a subscriber on public page nofications?

The https://www.atlassian.com/software/statuspage/pricing?tab=public says that the Business ($399/month) plan can have 5000 subscribers. Is that 5000 actual people, or is that 5000 notification channels?

For example, if a single person wants to be notified via email and SMS, then does that count as 1 subscriber, or as 2 subscribers?

What if a single person wants to be notified via a single email address but on two different components (suppose there were 5 components in all). Is that a single subscribers or 2 subscribers?

Same question with the other plans.

TIA

Hello Perry,

Hope you're doing well! To answer your question, I will actually point you to this article which breaks down how subscribers are counted: https://support.atlassian.com/statuspage/docs/how-are-subscribers-counted/

If component subscriptions are enabled, the email only counts as one subscriber regardless of the number of components they subscribe to.

The only difference is Audience Specific pages. That is tracked by the number of unique Page Access Users you have as audience members.

Hopefully that answers your questions around this but let me know if you need any clarification.

Regards,
Jesse
