Can anyone please tell me the use of automation_email key which we get in response for performing CRUD operations on components ?
Where do we need to set it ? Purpose of it ?
Also can we can assign the position of components to respective component_groups ?

The automation email you get in the API response can be used in emails to send updates to components. You can find more information about that here: https://support.atlassian.com/statuspage/docs/get-started-with-email-automation/
There currently isn't a way to assign the position of components in component groups via API. You can only add more components to a group.
