Statuspage not connecting with New Relic

Hi

When I follow the steps to connect Statuspage with new Relic I get an error saying "Remove validation of your credentials failed, or you have no applications associated with your account"

 

I've used the New relic REST API key and not the other user keys.

Can it be that statuspage uses the older new relic api (v1 vs v2)?

Thank you in advance for assisting me with this. Without the new relic integration I will not be able to use statuspage so really hoping you can help as I like this product.

Hey Nicolai,
Thanks for reaching out :) 

There are two important items to keep in mind here:

  1. We can only integrate with New Relic APM for metrics (we cannot pull metrics from New Relic Synthetics).
  2. You will need to have an application configured inside of New Relic APM for us to pull data from. If there is no application configured already, that can lead to the error message you saw.

If you can verify that you are configuring with a valid New Relic APM application, but continue to see issues, please let us know.

Thank you for that, that part was not clear to me. Currently I'm using synthetics to check e.g. website etc is online. 

Looks like I will not be able to use statuspage for this reason then.
