I see where I can turn on subscribers for a page.  That is straightforward.  However, is there a way that a page can have the ability to have subscribers "enabled" but the creation of a subscriber to be added only via the API?

The outcome would allow API-created subscribers but not allow a subscriber to self-subscribe to the page via the web UI.

Hey Carlos,

Thanks for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

There is actually a way to remove the subscribe button but it requires the use of custom code. We have some examples of how you can do that with the customizations cookbook: https://help.statuspage.io/help/customizations-cookbook

While this may remove the button from view, savvy folks will still be able to see on the backend that the subscribe function still exists so there is not a 100% sure way to prevent this but this definitely will limit the number of users being able to subscribe.

Please let me know if you have any other questions regarding this.

I hope that you have a great day.

Best Regards,
Egor
