Statuspage - In App Messages - Delay or Dismiss Option

Dear SP-community,

is there a built-in option to make the in-app embedded status page message postponed or dismissed by the user for a desired time period?

 

Background: The user shall not get embedded active status on every page visit or reload.

Hi Robert,

The status embed updates will populate on the site as soon as an incident is published and the user can dismiss the message at anytime by clicking the 'x'

The embed popup will not return until another update is made to an incident or a new incident occurs, regardless of page reload or new session. 

The one exception to this is if you are using an incognito window, in which case it will populate on every page load.status_embed.png
