Statuspage: Audience-Specific Users vs. Team Members Login Credentials

Scott Palgon January 17, 2023

Apologize if this has already been asked...cannot find this in the community or documentation.

For an Audience-Specific Statuspage configuration, do "Team Members" that have login credentials for the "Manage" site need to also have a separate set of "Audience-Specific User" login credentials in order to view the external Statuspage site?

IOW, is it possible to utilize only the "Team Member" login credentials to access both the "Manage" site and external "Audience-Specific" sites?

I believe that both sets are required, but wanted to double-check in case I missed it.

Thanks.

Hey @Scott Palgon ,

Thank you for raising your query and yes you do need to have a separate set of credentials for accessing the 'Manage' site and the external Statuspage for an Audience-Specific Statuspage.

You can be a part of the Team Members list for your page but if you are not part of the 'Audience' list you cannot access the external Statuspage site.

Best regards,
