I would like to add a few third-party components to customers that look to have Atlassian StatusPage. The problem is that they are not showing in the third-party components list.
Is there a way I can still reference them on my StatusPage? An example customer would be Snowflake.
I would like to create a one stop shop for my customers to see our ecosystem.
TIA
Hello Nicholas,
This is Jesse from the Statuspage support team. Thank you for reaching out to the community about wanting to reference third party components on your page.
Normally, a company can come to us and tell us that they would like to be added to the list of third party components and we can get them set up. If you have a way of contacting these companies, you can tell them you are interested and then they can submit a support ticket and we can get them set up.
Besides that, you could utilize the Status API to grab the component data and then have a script that takes that information and posts it to your page. That would require some work but is really the only other way that this would work. You can learn more about what calls you can make to the Status API by going to the public page and appending /api to it, which will show you a list of calls you can make.
I think the best option is to go the route of reaching out to the companies you're interested in and having them come to us to make them third party components. Hope that helps out!
Regards,
Jesse
Thanks Jesse! How would you recommend them coming to you? I saw there was a link in the documentation but it does not work:
Here is a snippet and the site:
My company has a status page. How do we get added to the list of third-party components?
If you’re an admin on your company’s status page, contact our support team and let them know you’d like to be listed as a third-party component. They’ll enable it on your page so that your status page appears in the list for other Statuspage users to add.

Hi Nicolas,
I can take a look at that link. If the company does have a Statuspage account, they can go to support.atlassian.com and submit a ticket there. They will need to login to their Atlassian account to access the page. The email for support might be an old one that needs to be removed. If that is the case, I will work with my team to remove that. Hope that helps!
Regards,
Jesse
