StatusPage - How to subscribe new users to 0 components by default.

Hi team,

I feel like this has changed recently, but may be wrong. Whenever I create a new subscriber on StatusPage, they are automatically subscribed to ALL components. Is it possible to flip this so that they are assigned to 0 components by default?

Thanks,

Chris

Thanks Egor. That is unfortunate, as it would seem more logical to subscriber users to nothing by default, and then add, rather than subscribing them to everything and then taking away.

Thanks,

Chris

Hey Chris,
Thanks for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

Currently, Statuspage automatically subscribes new subscribers to all components by default. Unfortunately, there is no built-in option to change this behavior so that new subscribers are assigned to 0 components by default.

You would need to manually adjust their subscriptions after they are added or use the API to update their component subscriptions programmatically.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Best Regards,
Egor
