Hi there
We are sending incident notifications to distribution groups and don't want the users within those groups to be able to manage the subscriptions for the dist. group, since this would stop the notification from being sent to anyone
Is there a way to remove the "Manage Subscriptions" link at the bottom of the incident notification email?
Thanks in advance
Hi @Asher Francis -
Thanks for reaching out! We strongly recommend against using distribution lists for subscriptions. The reason is that any recipient on the distribution list would have the unsubscribe button, and clicking it would remove the entire distro list just as you stated. There currently isn't a way to disable the unsubscribe link that the recipients see. You can refer to this information here: https://support.atlassian.com/statuspage/docs/enable-subscribers/
Hope this answers your question.
Hi Mark
Thanks for this. Yet another hole in Atlassian's functionality. We have a number of applications used by different users and those users change regularly due to staff turnover.
Users are granted access to the applications by way of an AD security group, which is mail enabled. Hence, we are using those distribution groups to notify the users of that application when an incident is created
It's not a suitable suggestion to use individual email addresses as every time a new user started/left, we'd have to add/remove their subscription
Unless there is a way to automate this?
Thanks
Asher

Hi @Asher Francis -
If you'd like, you can mass import subscribers with our import template: https://support.atlassian.com/statuspage/docs/import-subscribers-via-csv/
Take note that this can only add new subscribers, not remove them. So if you need to remove a subscriber, you would need to leverage our API: https://developer.statuspage.io/#operation/deletePagesPageIdSubscribersSubscriberId
