I'm interested in a Statuspage integration with Zendesk. All I'm finding though are solutions for public Atlassian Statuspage URL's, ours is private. What integration options do I have a with a private page (audience-specific)?

This means that you require a public Statuspage for this to work correctly. What this integration seems to do is simply fetch information from the public page. As private pages are inaccessible without proper authentication, it can't retrieve any information.
You may want to use a public page for Zendesk only.
There is a ticket open to our product team to integrate Statuspage private pages with Zendesk. We keep it internally, but the ticket reference is SPSP-25449
