I've turned on email subscriptions and don't have any custom HTML on the status page. However, there is no subscription button available on the live site. Is there a step I'm missing here? The only thing we've added is a Cover Image so I expected the button to be automatically added after turning on subscriptions.

Can you please try going to Subscribers >> Options (dropdown on the right-hand side) >> Settings - and make sure at least one of the delivery types is checked?
If that is not the issue, please open a support ticket here so we can take a look at your account.
