Maintenance update

Is there a way to cancel a maintenance notification? Currently we can only delete the maintenance notification as compared to cancelling a maintenance activity in statuspage.

Statuspage currently does not provide a direct option to "cancel" a maintenance notification. The only available action is to delete the scheduled maintenance event entirely. This can be a bit limiting if you simply want to communicate that maintenance is no longer happening without removing all trace of the scheduled event.

Here are some alternative options you could consider:

1. Instead of deleting it, update the maintenance event and add "Cancelled" to the title or description. This way, users will know that it’s no longer happening, and you can provide additional context.

2. You could also post a follow-up update to the maintenance, explaining that it has been cancelled. This way, subscribers will get notified, and you retain a record of the event.

3. Of course, the last option is simply to delete the event, though this will remove the event entirely from the record.
