Is it possible to show the components group as tabs instead of collapsable divs?

Hi community,

I was wondering if it would be possible to show component groups as tabs instead of the collapsable divs?

You can consider the AWS status page as an example of my question. The continents are listed as tabs: https://status.aws.amazon.com/

I was also wondering if custom HTML, CSS, and JS would be a possible solution to implement this. But since it allows us only to edit the header and footer, I was not sure if it would be a way out to implement tabs using the statuspage solution.

You are on the right track! You can use JS to alter that Components section, though we unfortunately do not have an example of that. This page https://support.atlassian.com/statuspage/docs/css-and-javascript-snippets-for-customizations/#Changing-the-components-section does have examples for other alterations of the components section, and may help you come up with the grouping structure you're after.
