Is it possible to customize Incident Impact Terms?

Hi,

Is it possible to customize the current list of Incident Impact terms? For example the current list is:

Here's the full list:

  • "operational"
  • "under_maintenance"
  • "degraded_performance"
  • "partial_outage"
  • "major_outage"

These have been fairly standard for years in the platform. We have some requests to customize this list that better communicates the impact to a service. Is this possible to customize?

TIA!

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,

You can customize the names of the different component statuses. For example, you can change "Operational" to "Everything's Great!"

Here is the JS to do so:

https://bitbucket.org/atlassian/statuspage-sample-customizations/src/master/custom_component_statuses_js/custom_component_statuses.html

Hope that helps.

Regards,

Howard

Yes we know this, I should been more specific. This just changes the display in consumption. It would change the API response and internal Admin UI status's. It makes it confusing for integrations/humans to keep track of mapping whats different in the JS vs product. Guess thats not possible. Thanks.
