Is is possible to remove the link to StatusPage from incident tweets?

We're looking to use StatusPage to post incident updates to Twitter and wondering if it's possible to remove the link to StatusPage from the Tweet.

We'd only rely on these tweets to keep customers updated when an issue is identified/resolved but don't want to direct them to StatusPage.

Hi there Kata,

Thanks for writing into Statuspage Community, I'm Talar from the Atlassian team, happy to help.

At this time the customisation available on the Twitter app are:

  • Tweet by default or do not tweet by default when creating an incident

  • Start the tweet with some text such as [status]

  • Add a custom Twitter card image (the default image used is the Statuspage logo)

Removing the URL is not an option.

However, as a workaround, could review using our API within your own implementation methods. You could look into using the Statuspage API in tandem with the Twitter API to get and post incident information in the format you'd prefer.

Hope this helps!

Regards,
Talar
