I don't want all my site admins and trusted users to have access to Statuspage

Edited

Hi.

By default, all users with Trusted access or Site Admin access, take up a license to statuspage.

I don't want that.

How can I still keep users Trusted or Site Admin but not taking up a license to Statuspage?

sure I can remove site-admin from product access.

but as soon as I change a user role to Trusted or Site Admin, the access to all our Atlassian products are locked in.

Please help

Hey Thomas,

Thanks for reaching out. For Site Admins, you can remove the site-admins group from Statuspage. To give users access, you will need to add them to the statuspage-users and statuspage-administrators groups. You can find a guide here:

https://support.atlassian.com/statuspage/docs/manage-statuspage-admin-access-in-atlassian-admin/

As far as Trusted Users, there is no way to remove them from specific products. You will need to downgrade them to basic users and give them access to products individually.

Hope this helps!
