Failed Webhook not posting to fallback Email

Hi Team,
Currently we are trying to configure and test Webhook features for incident managements. The status page documentation saying if it fails to post on to webhook endpoint, it will post information to email to let subscriber know. But its not working in our scenario.

So I hav few query
a. In case of failure, what http status Status page expects from webhook endpoint in order to trigger fallback email. ?

Use Case - We are responding 304 from middleware to endpoint and its not sending email. We hav also tried with 4XX and 5XX
still same behabiour and email not received.

b. What would be use case scenario in which failed webhook will send email to associated email ID as per snapshot attached ?3xx_webhook_doc.pngendpoint_webhook.png

Hi @himanshu70 ,

Thanks for reaching out to community. It could be that we are sending the email, it might just not be reaching you. It could be that it's being rejected by your email server or something similar.

It's best to submit a ticket via support.atlassian.com so we can look further into this! Could you make sure you include the email address in question in the ticket info?

Regards,
- Abraham, Statuspage Support
