Email notification Limits

Is there a limitation of the number of email notifications that can be sent?  Our Public Business license says that we can only have 5000 subscribers. Does that mean that Email Notification is limited to only 5000 email addresses?

It is confusion because it listed emails/SMS/webhook notification as a feature but doesn't reference a maximum.

Thank you

Hi @David Hacking

Subscribers are counted based on the type of subscription they have:

  1. Email: Each email address is considered a unique subscriber.
  2. SMS: Each phone number is considered a unique subscriber.
  3. Slack: Each subscribed channel counts as one subscriber.
  4. Webhook: Each webhook is considered a unique subscriber.

However, RSS and Atom subscribers are not counted against your subscriber total.

Please note that only active subscribers are counted towards the subscriber limit total for active plans. Quarantined, unconfirmed, and deleted subscribers do not contribute to your plan's total.

In the context of your Public Business license, with a limit of 5,000 subscribers — this limit refers to the combined total of unique subscribers from Email, SMS, Slack, and Webhook categories. You can send multiple notifications to these subscribers as needed, without any explicit limit on the number of notifications sent, as long as you stay within the 5,000-subscriber limit.

I hope that clears up any confusion.

Best,
Hamza

Thank you.  Those were the details I needed.

-David
