Downtime field in Maintenances

Hello,

In maintenances there are different scenarios with downtimes, sometimes a maintenance is one hour with 10 minutes of downtime and sometimes the downtime is one hour, we want to track this data for reports with API,  currently it is not available with API. I guess having Expected Downtime field in Scheduled Maintenances form will fix this issue.

Please tell me how do you track this kind of data?

Thanks.

Hello Dachi,

This is Jesse from the Statuspage Support Team. I think the best way to go about doing this is to keep the maintenance itself going on but change the component status from under maintenance to operational. This would allow you to track when there is no downtime while keeping the scheduled maintenance active. That would be the way that I would manage it. Feel free to reach back out if you have any other questions about this.

Regards,

Jesse
