Displaying Private Statuspage in Iframe

We are trying to display a private Statuspage on our website in an iframe (want to show the whole page rather than just a subset of information with Status Embed).  SSO was configured for the users to log in and works fine if the Statuspage is opened in a new tab, however when displayed in an iframe it gets stuck in a redirect loop where it gets a successful response from the IDP, then redirects back to Statuspage which then again redirects back to the IDP login url.

Is it possible to support loading a private Statuspage in an iframe? If so, are there any extra steps needed to support it?

Hi @luke.stevens1,

This is Darryl. I am here to help. 😀

Understand that you would like to embed the whole authentication-required Private Statuspage to your website via iframe, but it seems like being stuck with the redirection loop.

Please note that we can not guarantee this as it's not part of the feature offerings.

However, I have created a feature request on your behalf, STATUS-422.

We will keep you posted when there is an update because all the feature requests for Statuspage are not visible to our customers.

Please note that our Product team reviews all Feature Request (FR) together and they prioritize those with higher demand to be implemented first and any FR will take months until is ready since it needs to go through Design, Development, Testing, and rolling out to Production.

Thank you for your feedback in helping us make Statuspage better.

Kind regards,
Darryl Lee
