Currently, when any incident or maintenance is created on Statuspage, the system sends email notification to all subscribers. The subject of that email has format:
{COMPANY_NAME} Maintenance - {maintenance_name}
or
{COMPANY_NAME} Incident - {incident_name}
In our case, we want our customers to be aware of maintenance or incidents on side of our partners - third-party APIs/Solutions. However, the system always adds our company name before "Incident", which creates a perception that it's our system has many incidents (which is not true).
That communication pattern is pretty bad because it always blames our company even if the idea was just to deliver information about something happening in another system that some customers use.
How can I modify the email subject template to solve the issue above? I didn't find any configurations that would solve that.
Hi @Vasiliy Sablin ,
Thanks for reaching out about this. Unfortunately this is not currently possible but there is an open feature request for for this.
I've gone ahead and added you to it so if it ever gets completed, we'll do our best to reach out. I do apologize for the inconvenience.
Let me know if you have any more questions,
- Abraham, SP support
what is the ETA for that feature?
