Currently, when we create an incident in Status Page, the email subject that goes out to subscribers is "[Company Name] Incident - Incident subject you type" where the "[Company Name] Incident" seems to be a default we can't change.
Can this be modified in any way? Having the email subject formatted like this causes confusion because it makes it seem like our company is the cause of the issue whereas it's actually a vendor.
Hi Eric,
Welcome to the community and thanks for your question about editing the subject line of the incident emails. This feature is currently not available. We have an open feature request with our development team and it is in a state of gathering interest. I have added this community post to that request to show that that is more interest. I think the use case you presented is a good one for the team to know about. Thanks for providing it.
For now, there isn't a workaround for this either. Is there a way to add the vendor name to the incident to help avoid confusion? Also, you mentioned that you are saying the incident is from a vendor. I would love to understand that more if you were open to sharing your use case for Statuspage. Thanks for your time!
Regards,
Jesse
Hey, we would also like to change the email subject so that it does not contain "incident" and use another term. Per my understanding, this is still not possible. Is that correct?

Hi Shiran,
That is correct. This is not something we currently have at this time. I still don't have information on when this feature will be coming to Statuspage. If you have any additional questions about this, please feel free to reach out with a ticket. Thanks for your time!

Jesse

I would find this option useful. Even if there is a way for our University's name was put at the end of the subject line.
