Can we have on-approval subscription to add Subscribers?

We would like to know about subscription model on Statuspage.

Is it possible to approve email-addresses before allowing subscriptions?

Understand that you would like to know about the subscription model on Statuspage.

In short, there is no approval for the Statuspage Admin (especially the Public pages as it may come from anywhere and massive amounts) to grant the subscription requests.

In the current design, the Email Subscription works in this way:

1. The user browses your Statuspage and clicks to Subscribe Via Email.
2. When they subscribe, they will receive an email with a confirmation button. The confirmation link must be clicked in order to receive any notifications; it expires after 90 days.

It's essentially a self-service process. For more details, please find this document.
