Call API from maintenance event

Is it possible to post an API after a maintenance is created?

For instance, we would like to post a slack notification when a maintenance is created, I am having trouble finding it.

The only way I can see is using the active maintenance. Save it then compare it when a new maintenance is added -

Hi Leo,

You actually don't even need the API to send a Slack notification when a maintenance window is created. Simply go to your live Statuspage, click the "Subscribe to updates" button, click on the "Slack" tab and click "Subscribe via slack" and you can have notifications sent to a Slack channel.

Then, when you schedule maintenance, just be sure the "send notifications" checkbox is checked.

Sorry for the late reply as I was out of office. This is helpful -

I got error when I tried to add a webhook URL, "Token can't be blank". Is this because legacy token not supported by Slack anymore?
