Hi All!
I'd like to know if it is possible via API to create an incident and notify via email only impacted customers who have subscribed to a component of our audience specific page.
Example:
Component: Payment gateway
Customers who have subscribed to Payment Gateway component are: johndoe@gmail.com, samdoe@hotmail.com
if there is an incident with Payment Gateway that (somehow) only impacts johndoe@gmail.com but not samdoe@hotmail.com,
is there a way I can create an incident (via API) to notify only johndoe@gmail.com?
Hey Ketan, thanks for reaching out with this question. Currently, it is not possible to choose specific subscribers to send notifications to - Notifications will always go out based on component or incident subscriptions.
The workaround for this would be to have more specific components for each user group, for more granular notification control, but I understand this can be difficult/impractical to implement.
Let me know if there is anything else we can try to assist with!
Regards,
Alan - Atlassian Support
