Attach files to scheduled maintenance or incidents

Is there any way to attached a PDF to a scheduled maintenance?

We have maintenance notes that go along with the maintenance window it would be handy to be able to attach these to the status page so end users can view them. 

 

It would also be helpful to be able to have the function to add attachments to any incidents. For example if we are experiencing a specific error we can provide the end users a print screen of this. Can this be done?

Thank you for contacting Atlassian Community!

With the current product design, we don't have the ability to attach files to incidents or maintenance details. The best workaround to do this would be to upload the document/file to a central & accessible location and add the document/file URL in the incident/maintenance message.

Please note we do have a feature request open with our engineering team to be able to achieve this request. STATUS-75 is the feature request ID for your reference.

As I understand this is an important requirement for your operations. I have internally updated the FR ticket and upvoted it to be considered by the product team.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee an ETA as our product team will make a decision together with our development team. The Product team reviews all feature requests and prioritizes those with higher demand to be implemented first. Any FR will take a varied amount of time until is ready if considered since it needs to go through Design, Development, Testing, and rolling out to production. You can follow the URL to further understand the feature implementation policy.

We also need this feature. Our use case is to attach a PDF with our release notes. Since these release notes can be several pages which includes media like images, posting it as text is not sufficient.

Can we get an update please?
