Hi there! I am Victor and I’m a Product Manager on the Statuspage team.

Our Slack app is one of the most popular Statuspage integrations. You can easily set it up and start receiving incident and maintenance notifications in the Slack channels of your choice. But with so many incident response teams using Slack as a core collaboration hub, what if the integration could work the other way around? Would it be helpful for your team to be able to create or update incidents without leaving Slack?
We were excited to see the team at RigD exploring this. Their app integrates with Statuspage and lets incident responders manage their page directly from Slack:

In their own words:
“Making sure updates are timely, accurate, and detailed is critical to keep customers informed. However, incident responders often have to make a tradeoff between investing the time in an update or getting the problem fixed. RigD enables efficient updates of your page in seconds right from Slack.”
We'd love to hear your thoughts about an integration like this. Would the RigD Slack app improve your team's incident workflow? Have you already tried it maybe? We're all ears!
Thanks for the support and also your feedback after using RigD!
Last week we added a few enhancements to make it easier to add and remove components from an incident. Also we added an option to not send a notification when you are creating the incident through Slack.
If you have an idea for something please share!
Justin
Yes please! I was honestly surprised to see that the Slack app was *only* about notifications and not about control
it seems this company isnt around anymore? Does anyone have any other suggestions?
